Cold Jackets are Adam Johnson and Mark Henne.

Adam Johnson has been playing his version of Chicago blues and funky, Texas twang in bars, dancehalls and theaters for over a decade. As well as penning many of his own original tunes, he has also played side man to many of Texas’ country, Americana and rock acts. While his roots may lie in these classic generes, living in Austin has allowed many new sounds to influence and make thier way into Johnson’s original music.

These “new sounds” are now finally coming to life through the partnership of longtime friend and collaborator, Mark Henne. The duo created, “Cold Jackets” to showcase some of their favorite influences and provide a platform for a new musical direction. Old and new, drum machines and blues. Cold Jackets has something just for you.

Mark moved to Austin in 2008 and has worked with international touring bands such as Leopold and his Fiction, Asylum Street Spankers, Graham Wilkinson, Sahara Smith, Ben Ballinger and many more. Mark also engineers records and does video production for bands.
