Come Hang With Us is very pleased to be hosting Leeanne Langton for the month of February 2020.

‘Art is my therapy and the work I produce is purely generated dependant in my mood. I have an obsession with big eyes and I always start there. As we know, eyes are the windows to the soul.’

Working from her ‘Art Shed’ Leeanne practices in mixed media, including acrylic, watercolour, ink, and collage on both paper and canvas. The body of work Leeanne creates ranges from miniature cards to journals and paintings.

You may have seen Leeanne’s work at 35 Chapel Walk Gallery and The Picture House in collaborative exhibitions.

This will be Leanne’s first solo exhibition in her hometown!

Come Hang With Us is a changing monthly free exhibition space supporting artists working with all creative mediums. Curator Liz von Graevenitz started this project at The Dorothy Pax in 2017 and it has been a great success bringing music, visual art and spoken word to a unique space for an unpredictable audience who may not usually go to galleries in Sheffield.
