EXTRA DATE ADDED!
Let’s be honest here, it’s never too early to talk about Valentine’s Day is it?
And if you fancy doing something a little different to celebrate next year? Then why not come along to my event: A Very Violent Valentines.
It’s going to be a night jam packed full of local true crime, told with the black humour you all know from my Ghost Walks, as you simply won’t believe what the people of Victorian Sheffield did in the name of love.
There’s going to be talk of notorious murderers, forgotten serial killers, and other tales from times gone by.
Plus we’re going to be reenacting a long forgotten “tradition” from old Sheffield so be ready for a little audience participation…
Plus you’ll all be nice and toasty as the night will be held in the wonderful The wonderful Dorothy Pax so yes we’re going be inside for a change. There will even be a complimentary glass of mulled cider on arrival.
The Dorothy Pax is the ideal venue for our evening. It’s an intimate pub on Sheffield’s Victoria Quays, underneath one of the arches of Sheffield’s now long gone Victoria Station, and next to the canal. There’s free on street parking nearby plus it’s a short walk from most major bus routes.
Doors open at 7pm and we aim to start at 8pm. That way you’ve plenty of time to go for a meal first should you do wish.
Afterwards you’re welcome to stay on at the Dorothy Pax as they will be hosting a specially themed anti-valentines disco.
Tickets are £10 each however, if you book quickly, there will be a limited number of early bird tickets priced at just £8 each.
Please note that this is an 18+ event.
