How better to spend an evening a few days before Christmas then with Sheffield Art’s Lab (SHLAB) and The Hearnes.
This year, at 6PM, SHLAB will be taking on the folk tradition of a Mummers’ play. Dating back to the middle ages, there is a rich history and varying plays accross Britain. Mainly performed by a troupe of amateur actors who engage in combat with the loser being revived by a doctor character performed at pubs.
Followed by at 7PM, The 2nd annual Hearnes Christmas Carols. An informal sing-along to get us all in the Christmas spirit. This year they are shaking a bucket for Weston Park Hospital who specialise in cancer care. Please donate generously.
